We offer yoga classes in the Power Vinyasa Yoga tradition, linking powerful breath with the dynamic movements of the body using the Bowspring Alignment. This series of flow cultivates strength, flexibility, balance, focus and endurance. It is an energetic practice that tones the entire body as well as disciplining the mind. The room is gently warmed 80-92 degrees. Open to all levels of students, these classes will leave you feeling light and open to possibilities.
Breath and Body Power Vinyasa Yoga L2-l3
This class links vitalizing breath with the mindful movements of the body to create a powerful flow. You will cultivate strength, flexibility, balance, focus and awareness. You will leave class feeling more mindful and revitalized. In every single class you will move through a series of strength building poses, balancing poses, backbends, and inversions. We offer modifications and intensifications during class to empower you no matter where you are in your practice. Get ready to take your practice to the next level as you discover your strength, challenge your boundaries, and awaken your spirit! Classes are gently heated 85-90 degrees.
VINYASA YOGA L1-L2 (non Heated)
Our Level 1-2 class is a perfect place for people to begin their yoga practice or to reconnect with their yoga roots. Personal attention and modifications are used that makes this class perfect for both beginners, pregnacy and seasoned practitioners seeing a deep knowledge of the poses. Class moves slower than the Power Vinyasa class and poses are held for 5 breaths or more. In every single class you will move through a series of strength building poses, balancing poses, backbends, and inversions.
HIPS & HAMMIES
It’s often believed that open hips and open hamstrings are the key to having an open heart. This class is a fun variation on our signature Power Vinyasa that focuses on diving deep into opening and strengthening the often tight hips and hamstrings. Be prepared to open your body during this hip and hamstring focused flow that includes standing postures, balancing poses, inversions, and backbends. Class is heated to 88 degrees and deep, soulful music will accompany the flow.
Breath and Body Yoga re-invents all of your favorite yoga poses to create a challenging and heat building “BURN” sequence. This class consists of carefully selected yoga poses and conditioning intervals. We focus on creative sequencing and detailed alignment in order to build dynamic strength and sculpt the whole body in only 45 minutes! Get ready to fire up your buttocks, gain a spring in your step, and take your practice to a new physical level! You’ll be guided safely and will be inspired to move with your fullest potential. Maximum calories will be burned…..Studio heated to 85 Degrees. All Levels are welcome and wanted.
BOWSPRING LEVEL 1 (Sridaiva): Based upon the emergent Sridaiva postural system, this class is focused on maintaining the natural curves of the spine within a dynamic postural template called the “bowspring”. This slower moving class is challenging in that it requires awareness and activation of the back posterior chain, which is often weak and under-used. Bent knees, hovering heels, and a full radiant heart allow for the poses to feel springy, light, buoyant, and open. This class is open to all ages, all practitioners. Class is maintained at a temperature of 82-85 degrees.
Ashtanga yoga, as taught by Śrī K. Pattabhi Jois, is a system of postures (āsanas), linked together by breath through the vinyāsa method. As originally taught in Mysore, India, students of all levels are instructed individually in a group setting, learning the series slowly and progressively. Students are given verbal and hands-on guidance as necessary to deepen their practice. Beginners are welcome! The memorization and repetition of the sequence and concentration on deep rhythmic breathing, bandhas(energetic locks) and dṛṣṭi (specific gazing points), helps to bring the mind and body into harmony and creates a deep state of concentration. Consistent practice supports physical and nervous system purification, strength and grace, calmness and clarity of mind. Pattabhi Jois always considered the physical practice of ashtanga yoga to be a manifestation and embodiment of the eight limbs (aṣṭa-aṅga) of Patañjali. The practice is a moving meditation, which through the continual cultivation of concentration and presence, allows us to become aware of and work with our physical and mental patterns, with the same ultimate aim of quieting the mind in order to attain knowledge of our soul.
If you are 55 years or older and are new to yoga this 60-minute class is designed for you. The room is slightly heated to 80 degrees and the practice focuses on strengthening, lengthening and improving balance. Based in the Breath and Body Yoga Vinyasa Yoga and using bowspring alignment techniques, you will learn yoga poses and breathing techniques that bring vitality and energy to your body. Taught by Cynthia Pierce (68-years of young).

Traditionally, yoga was taught one-on-one. Private lessons provide a setting in which your individuality can be completely addressed. The sequence and poses are selectively chosen and developed to meet your specific needs. Learning and practicing postures and breathing exercises at your own pace and within your own range is the most effective way to realize the true power of yoga. Just as coaches watch videos to analyze players, we found that a video analysis of poses give you new insight to to the action within your body. Your body is the mirror to your soul.
