Gently Heated: Foundations

You asked and we are responding. Breath and Body Yoga is pleased to announce a power yoga class, called Foundations. This class is great for students who want to learn the form and action with very little heat in the room.

This is an excellent class for students wishing to practice at a moderate pace. Based on the Baptiste Power Yoga method of teaching, this class combines breath, movement to create flexibility, strength, healing and self-awareness. This is a great foundational class to Power Vinyasa Yoga. Be prepared to take an in-depth look of the sun salutations, standing poses, twists, back bends hip openers and inversions. You will learn healthy alignment through the form of the pose, the action within the pose and the breathing associated with each pose. Our Foundations classes are gently heated classes between 82 – 85 degrees. These classes will increase your strength, flexibility, range of motion and remove toxins and stress from your body.  Meet new friends and get a great yoga practice at the same time.
