...Yoga has been my “fountain of youth.” As I started coming into my 60’s my body began sinking forward, my hip joints were inflamed, and vertigo stopped me in my tracks. After one year of power vinyasa I had regained ½ “ in height and the hip joints healed. My second year has been a complete marvel! Headstands, handstands, backbends, that I never achieved as a child are giving me a new world. As for the vertigo….the peace found on the mat guides me gently, and now the spells are “vertigo-light.”

Yoga Is My Gym...
Being a golfer, I had done some yoga in the past but hadn't developed a regular practice. I came back to yoga after multiple knee injuries and was looking for a way to get back in shape and strengthen my knee. Those results are coming with consistent practice, but what I've really gained is a sense of well being that is the real reason I continue to practice as often as I can. No matter the stresses during class; I have always felt better for having practiced and am grateful to have found such an interesting and consistently challenging form of yoga.
