Breath and Body Yoga Teacher, RYT 500

Shannon began her journey with yoga in 2009 while a student at the University of Texas. She sought yoga out as a balance to her coursework and has been stoking the fire it lit within her ever since. In early 2013, she participated in the 40 Days to Personal Revolution at Breath and Body Yoga, and her world was transformed. She hungered to learn and experience more about the power of this practice.

Shannon completed her 200-hour RYT in 2013 and completed both Baptiste Level One and her 300-hour RYT in 2014. As a teacher, she strives to help students empower their practice by striking a balance of strength and flexibility. Her classes are known for being light-hearted, grounded, and full of lots of arm balances.

When peeled away from the studio, Shannon enjoys experimenting with healthy recipes, exploring Austin, and backpacking in new and exciting places.
