Growing up with a love for mind and body connection, Courtney always desired activity that challenged her to be stronger. She enjoyed the personal escape she found in individual sports and grew up exploring various outlets, including gymnastics, running, and pilates. It wasn’t until Courtney found yoga that she discovered the practice she had been looking for.

Courtney first practiced yoga over ten years ago in search of a way to calm her mind and tone her body. Over the last several years, yoga and meditation have become a top priority in her life. Through these, she has experienced growth and transformation both mentally and physically. Courtney felt a strong desire to teach yoga in an effort to help people experience the kind of transformation she knew was possible from her personal experience. She was immediately drawn to the invigorating flow of the classes at Breath and Body Yoga, and knew she had found her yoga home. Courtney graduated the 200 Hour Teacher Training program in April of 2016. She brings a high energy to her classes, encouraging her students to challenge themselves while having fun on their mat. When she isn’t on her mat, you can find her outdoors exploring nature, traveling the world, enjoying the endless opportunities for music in Austin, and spending time with her tiny chihuahua, Halle.
