Art of the Breath and Body Yoga Alignment System: Form, Action, Alignment

Yoga offers us hundreds of poses and unlimited variations. Within each pose, lies the form or shape. As muscles move, the bones stack by the “action” within the pose. These actions consist of the breath, the foundation, the muscle energy, balancing spirals and then the alignment for achieving your fullest peak in each pose. This 20-hour workshop is designed to demystify the common actions within all yoga poses. These "action principles" are the pillars of each pose and give access to the fullest alignment in each pose. Not only will you empower each pose, but you will achieve a deep understanding of the form, action and full alignment of our sun salutations with the Breath and Body Yoga alignment system. Your body is an incredible vehicle for this life. When you can move your body with breath and directionality, you can flow with strength and ease at the same time.

Be prepared to breakdown the powerful Sun Salutations. You will leave feeling empowered to embody all your poses with the Breath and Body Yoga action principles and alignment system. This workshop includes, discussion, workshop, detailed study, practice and pose breakdown.


Schedule: (20 Hour Module)

January 15th, 2020 / Wednesday Evening 6:30 - 7:30 pm Skype

Each weekend includes, Wednesday evening check in via Skype. Homework and reading assignment and any prep materials will be sent out and discussed on Wednesday night session. Asana, practice, meditation and workshopping is included for each weekend session.

January 17th, Friday 4:30 - 9:30 (5-Hours)
January 18th, Saturday 12:00 - 6:00 pm (6-Hours)
January 19th, Sunday 12:00 - 4:00 pm (4-Hours)

Part of the Teacher Training Track: 200-Hour & 300-Hour

Open to the Public: Weekend Cost: $350 (non-members) / $325 (members)

Yoga Alliance Certifications Available with 200 or 300 Completed Hours.
