THINK LESS, BACKBEND MORE WORKSHOP with Desirae Pierce

Out of all the various yoga poses, backbends can be the most daunting. Proper alignment tools and tips go a long way to help you set up your pose for success. Backbending poses use much more than just our spine and are an integral part of any yoga practice. Join Desirae Pierce in exploring your own backhanding capabilities!

In this workshop you will:

• Dive into the anatomy of spine and how to properly lengthen the spine

• Find out what a backbend should and shouldn’t feel like

• Learn how to safely come in and out of backbends with ease

• Learn how to use blocks and other props to support and deepen your pose

• Explore how to open your heart in every plane: belly backbends, standing backbends, floor backbends, and backbends upside down!

• Sweat and have fun!
