Breath and Body Yoga Teacher
From an early age, Jessica has been in constant motion. A competitive gymnast throughout her childhood and high school, she found yoga to be not only a challenging physical activity that kept her moving, but a way to counterbalance the mounting stress of adult life.
After moving to Austin from New York City in 2015, Jessica tried out many yoga studios, but found her home at Breath and Body Yoga. A seven-day challenge in the fall of 2016 sparked a fire and led her to crave this practice as part of her everyday life. She has noticed an increase in her own strength and power as a result of the practice and wants to bring that to her students.
In 2017, Jessica embarked on a journey of self-healing through diet and lifestyle, which she doubts she would have been open to without her yoga practice. Wanting to dive deeper, she completed the 200-hour RYT with Breath and Body in December of that year. She has set the intention to continue that empowerment and share that with her community.
When she’s not at the studio, Jessica can be found enjoying all the food and music Austin has to offer with her husband Darren, or paddle boarding with her dog Shea.
