Breath and Body Yoga Teacher

Since an early age Malia has always been interested in deep connection -- through conversation, movement, music, art, animals and nature. The mind-body-spirit connection began in her undergraduate studies UT-Austin when she started to discover different methods of yoga as a way to help her cope with anxiety and depression. A wild, curious renegade spirit at heart, yoga brought her balance and discipline at the perfect timing and continues to do so to this day.

After years of studying with various yoga, personal development teachers and healers, and working with and through various life traumas, Malia is committed to listening and trusting the teacher within and enjoys integrating yoga, meditation, creative expression, psychology, chakra theory, the elements, astrology, tarot, shamanism, breath work, hyposis, past-life/progress hypnosis therapy and life lessons into her teaching.

Over the past 17 years, Malia has been a dedicated student and teacher. She is passionate about teaching, empowering, mentoring, coaching and counseling. She has worked in various settings including yoga studios, prisons, corporations and with individuals one on one. She has experience account/project management, client relations, business ownership/management, marketing and promotions.

She values relationships, partnerships and deep soul-connections and is currently pursuing her Master's in Counseling to become a Licensed Professional Counselor w/ an emphasis in Trauma, Neuroscience and Sex Therapy.
