Breath and Body Yoga Teacher
Teaching has been a way of service for Shanda since she became a big sister. The joy she finds in giving, sharing and cooperating is endless and natural.
After earning a BA in both Spanish and Education from TCU, Shanda moved to Austin, TX and taught elementary school for 5 years. She continued her education at the University of Texas where she earned Med in educational psychology.
Before graduating from UT, Shanda met her Prince Charming, got married and started her family soon after. Now, the mother of three amazing children, she thanks yoga for her balance, strength and overall health.
Shanda has always been engaged in a fitness lifestyle her whole life but has been practicing yoga for 16 years. Without a doubt, yoga has been the most wholistic approach to fitness and has brought remarkable levels of balance, strength, and happiness to her life, relationships, and spirituality. As a yoga teacher, she hopes to open the same windows for others who are willing to explore.
